Hey foodie friends,
We just wanted to give you a little heads up regarding our plans for our Rittenhouse location. Can you believe it’s been over five years since we launched HipCityVeg there in April 2012? Neither can we! But it’s time for our flagship shop to get a little facelift.
Starting October 30, 2017, HipCityVeg at 127 S. 18th Street will undergo a few transformations to improve the overall experience for both our employees and customers. When our founder and owner, Nicole Marquis, was opening HipCity, she painted the walls and put in the tile herself. Five years later, we’re so grateful to have the support of our amazing, loyal community enabling us to give this location the fresher look and easier operation that our customers and employees deserve. We’re also happy to say that during closure, employees will be enjoying some much deserved PTO or work at other HipCityVeg locations, such as Broad Street.
So thanks for your consistent love and support—we wouldn’t be here without it, and we wouldn’t be able to make HipCity better without you!
Our renovations are estimated to be finished pretty quickly, so we plan to reopen our 18th Street location mid-November. In the meantime, you can still enjoy plant-based meals, drinks, and desserts at our Midtown Village and University City locations. Plus, order delivery from Caviar and use code HCVPHILLY for free delivery on your order of $15 or more from either HipCityVeg Broad Street or University City.* Stay updated on any announcements or changes by following us on social media.
We’ll see you at the grand reopening!
Love,
HipCityVeg
