Earth Day News: You are Saving the Planet When You Order from HipCityVeg

As we celebrate 10 years of business and reflect on the importance of Earth Day this April, we have taken a closer look at the impact we have had on the environment, and we are so proud to share the results, especially because you, our customers, made them possible!

Over the last 10 years, sales of our plant-based burgers and chick’n have dramatically reduced our customers’ impact on the environment, according to a study conducted for HipCityVeg by ImpactableX. 

You are saving the planet every time you order plant-based meals at HipCityVeg. Together, over the last 10 years we have:     

  • Saved more than 80 million gallons of water*
  • Prevented the release of nearly 7,500 tonnes of C02 emissions into the atmosphere 
  • Saved the lives of nearly 600,000 chickens 
  • Saved the lives of more than 1,700 cows
