Lookin’ Out for Our Farm Friends – Chenoa Manor Farm

It’s no secret that HipCity cares deeply for our furry animal friends. In honor of National Animal Shelter and Rescue Appreciation Week, we want to shout out local heroes, Chenoa Manor.

We spent a company-wide Employee Appreciation Day at this incredible animal sanctuary. Our hard-working employees from Bar Bombón, Charlie was a sinner., and HipCityVeg piled on a school bus and headed to Avondale, PA to visit Chenoa Manor.

Running purely on donations and volunteer work, this expansive shelter provides a peaceful, eternal home for farm animals and exotic animals, often rescued from slaughter, animal testing, or abandonment. After touring the 25-acre farm and befriending the furry personalities that call it home, we took away an even deeper respect for life and a strengthened connection to all living things. It’s truly incredible the work that Dr. Rob Teti, Chenoa Manor’s Executive Director and licensed veterinarian, and his team of enthusiastic volunteers do to protect these wonderful creatures.
